Heated Seats not working
Hi, I recently picked up a '06 C2S Cab and just noticed the heated seats dont warm up. The indicator light on the activation switch lights up, but seat stays cold. If it was a bad fuse would the indicator still light up?
Any suggstions? Thx.

My driver side gets very hot, but I am usually wearing thin scrub pants. My wife complains that the passenger side isn't very warm, but she has on a multiple layers! Go figure.
Now I will have to see how hot the passenger side gets :-)

The dealer told me that lumbar seats don't get very hot. Just warm. Both my seats get warm so I don't think it's a fuse b/c how can two fuses be bad? For those that say your seats get super hot, do you have lumbar?

I call BS on your dealer. The lumbar should have no impact on the heating elements. I have the full electric seats with lumbar and the high setting gets the seat really toasty!

What I would do:
1. check fuse
2. Look under seat and check all wiring for loose connections or pinched cut wires
3. Also check passengers side and see it they heat up

Agreed... the lumbar isn't an issue... or else without lumbar, ie the very basic seats, the heating must get really really hot.
The heating has 2 settings and the low is plenty for me.. the high would only be something I'd select if it was under 30 for a prolonged time (say getting in the car after it sat in the cold outside all day).
And I normally wear jeans and am wearing a light jacket when I drive.
If the fuse were blown, there would be zero heating. A fuse shuts off all the power, not part of the power.

Maybe the wiring is loose on the back of the switch or at the heating elements in the seat.
