Changing of the Guard!
I decided to swap the C2S from the primary in the northern end of the metro area to the vacation home on the far east end. Reason being, is because the far east end (Hamptons) is typically 10 degrees warmer in the winter and gets much less snow, etc. This way I will get more use out of it and also run the Targa more often, since I don't "pamper" it as much. It's about a 200 mile trip and all the parkways in the east end are flat and straight! It is where the late model Porsche's really shine. I was like a demon in 4th gear, waiting and taking advantage of every opportunity to smash it and rip well of 100 in seconds! Didn't go to nuts, went up to about 130 and was cruising round 95! You really own the road and it's a pure rush of adreniline!

A great area for a great car. Good idea to get more use of it this winter. I used to drive mine in the New England winters when there was no snow. They love that COLD air! (Especially when with a turbo)

Beautiful cars. Thanks for sharing that nice picture. The 997 needs to be driven hard to expose it's great character where as the '84 gets under your skin even when you are just cruising around in the 40 to 60 mph speed in the third gear.

spot on guys! It was actually no nice today in NYC (60 degrees) that I took the top off! This was a shot from the vacation home locale, but you get the idea of how it totally transforms the car.
