Thanks for the tip. I got the app installed just fine. But I must be some kind of iPad dummy. When I open the Christophorus icon, it just says "Updating Kiosk" and then just keeps spinning forever, like it's updating something, but no content is ever loaded.
Frustrated that I can't get at all this cool stuff.

I was looking for iPad apps developer for design such kind of app. I really did found anyone who are expert. I have attempted to download as well but not much success.

Digging this back up... I can't figure out why I have no sound in the Christophorus app. Sound in all other apps. No setting I can find. Any ideas?

There are only a few features that have any audio. For example, when you open the latest download, issue 359, from the kiosk, there is a 5 sec audio track with a quick vid of the new Cayman S. Do you get audio then? I don't find any audio settings and almost all articles have no soundtrack.

Let's be honest... Christophorus is not worth the paper it's printed on most of the time. It's a fashion/watch magazine with some articles where Porsche cars can sometimes be seen. On occasion there are car-specific articles - case in point the previous issue with the 991 launch, but even in that issue the real info is pretty thin. We all love Porsche, but let's call a spade a spade.

No doubt Excellence is better. Christophorus, however, is free as long as your car is in warranty.

I didn't have to do anything, or adjust any settings to get audio. Since you say other apps work fine with audio it's apparent you have no global settings issue and I have no explanation for your problem. My only suggestion would be to try deleting and reloading the Christophorus app if you haven't already.

My latest issue (Dec 2012-Jan 2013) arrived just 2 days ago so you may still have hope of getting one. Usually they will send a renewal notice so you can continue with a paid subscription once the freebie runs out.
