Very cool Christophorus iPad app

Often, I also prefer to sit down with a real magazine and read it through. Heck, I'm so old fashioned I subscribe to two actual newspapers! Still, the tablet apps, especially when well done, are pretty nice. They're very convenient when travelling or on the go, and in the case of the Christophorus one, for example, extend availability to people who don't otherwise have a subscription. As far as the comment above about the "App shilling for all things Porsche", that's what Christophorus is all about; can't blame that on the App......

Yes, don't forget that Christophorus is NOT a car magazine, it's an in-house promotional tool for Porsche...a really expensively done corporate marketing piece.
It costs a fortune to print Christophorus, compared to other mainstream mags.

If you read some of the articles where they take the car or SUV to a beautiful locale, there is very little mention about the actual vehicle or it's handling. Its a showcase of their products for the most part. If someone was constantly bombarded with this magazine every couple of months, there is no way that the reader could resist buying a Porsche car or SUV. They keep killing me with my new favorite color of Porsche: The platnum silver metallic. Perhaps a picture of Leader's GTS is in order

Forever. Especially since you will be already looking to buy your next P-vehicle
Just read an article on the Cayenne hybrid on the Canyon on the latest issue and they talk about how nice the PDK equipped vehicle is

Let's be honest... Christophorus is not worth the paper it's printed on most of the time. It's a fashion/watch magazine with some articles where Porsche cars can sometimes be seen. On occasion there are car-specific articles - case in point the previous issue with the 991 launch, but even in that issue the real info is pretty thin. We all love Porsche, but let's call a spade a spade.

I usually flip through it for about 3 minutes before it goes in the recycle bin.

When I called PCNA last week about my missing Christophorus mag they were extremely helpful. No doubt they'd be happy to cancel the subscription for those who find it worthless.
