JG, I ran for years in 997 cars on the track with 18" wheels. The sizes that work on 18" without upsetting ABS are:
245/40/18
305/35/18
Or
255/35/18
315/30/18
However now the only streetable r compound tire left in 18 for 997 cars is the Toyo R888. It is not really that great of a tire anyway. So for the track since in drive my car to the track I went with 19" because you have at least 4 models of r comp tires in 19's.
