Interestingly, many people are out there now looking for unique colored 911's to purchase second hand. I agree, the greens may be a bit more difficult to sell in the future. I had no guts and went with common silver.

Honestly, I never even thought about resale. I've always wanted a dark green P-car and finally got this one. Had no trouble selling my seal-grey 996 C4S, but guess that's one of the more common colors.
If and when I sell this one, it will be old and high mileage so the resale value will not be significant anyway.
Every dealer pays alot less on re-sale for PTS. They will pay reg money for Black or Silver, not even Red. Ask used car guy first. Any green, they might not even buy it.
not sure that's entirely true...perhaps dealer dependent
I'm guessing they'd buy my car - especially given how little inventory is available
not sure I'd even consider spec'ing a car and not go paint to sample

Note that Porsche Racing Green is not British Racing Green. The color is approximately the same but the former is metallic while BRG is flat. It makes a huge difference to my eye. That said, a Porsche in BRG over a dark brown or tan leather interior would be a very handsome car indeed.
I do like the browns. Porsche offers a dark brown metallic for the 991. It's one of the colors I've been considering. I'd look great with an expresso/light brown interior.
