Any Thoughts on running 19x8.5 et 45 and 19x11 et 40 on a 2009 Targa 4? Im currently running stock turbo 19x8 et57 and 19x11 et51. What(if any are the pros and cons. Im assuming the former set up will look more aggresive? Thanks

Ummm...those offsets might stick way out past the fenders. On my GTS (widebody like yours) my track wheels are 12x19 et48 in the rear and 8.5x19 et53 front and are at the edge.

Stock 11x19 wheels for a wide body offset is et51....so a et40 11x19 is I believe a outward increase of 11mm with is right at .5".

Mike, you are running 1" wider wheels. That adds 1/2" to each side of the wheel from the offset measurement.

Your math is correct for the et40. It would be the same thing as the OP running 11mm spacers which should be do-able without going passed the fender, if the OP has 1/2" from his tire to the fender now.

Great thanks for the education...so the rear 11x19 et40 will fit but the 8.5x19 et48 will not fit correctly? That is what I'm thinking.

Gellie,

Compared to your current Front wheels (19x8 57mm offset) the 19x8.5 with 45mm offset wheels will be pushed out an additional 18mm, or approximately 3/4 of an inch.

Compared to your current Rear wheels (19x11 51mm offset) the 19x11 with 41mm offset wheels will be pushed out an additional 11mm, or about 7/16 inch of an inch.

Find wheels with offsets that are closer to your stock wheels.

Thanks, That's what i was leaning towards. I like the new Avant Garde Ruger Mesh or OZ Ultraleggera HLT. Any other low cost options for good quality black wheels?
