Default TPMS - Constant Display

On 997.2, is it possible to show TPMS constantly? I recall reading or seeing a post regarding this elsewhere. Perhaps only possible on 997.1?

OP, sorry to sidetrack

The 19" actually doe not make the ride harsher than the 18". Both have the same sidewall height.
They do not. They have the same overall diameter/radius or are very close and have the same ratio front to rear.

The 18 rear spec is 295/35 R18 = 103.25 mm tire height (295mm*.35)

The 19 rear spec is 295/30 R19 = 88.5 mm tire height (295mm*.3) or 305/30 R19 (91.5mm)

That is about ~5/8" difference in sidewall height on the rear axle for those not metric inclined. And thus part of the reason I went to 18s for my winter tires, to give a little more sidewall height for the unseen pothole before denting a rim.

Yes. If you watch it constantly as the tires are coming up to temp, you'll also realize the TPMS reading isn't instant and it does seem to cycle through the tires in some sequence.

Both my summer and winter TPMS readings (997.2) tie to my gauge. Probably not accurate to the 1/10psi, but I feel confident in their readings having checked several times on both wheel sets.

Thanks. What I should have asked is whether the TPMS readings can be the default centre display vs. Audio, Range Remaining, etc. I do not see a setting for that.
Centre Display options on my car are only: Range.Remain, Audio, & Empty.

Is this a dealer setting or requires Durametric coding? I've looked in the manual and searched forums to no avail. Perhaps I'm using wrong terminology in search
Appreciate any further advice.

Are you sure you have tpms? Is should be viewable just like the other displays you mentioned.

Yes, I have TPMS. I can call up the TPMS manually.

I am looking for a way for the On-Board Computer to "automatically" display the TPMS readings - TPMS is displayed without using the stalk/lever... This, instead of either Range Remaining or Audio. Choose either of these, and the information is displayed ignition-on.

Yes, push your control **** up a few clicks and you show tire pressure instead of miles left in the tank.

Scroll through the screens on the center display and leave it on tire pressure. I have that as my default.

You may need to have sport chrono to have that option, I'm not sure.

18 inch wheels on a 997 look too small IMHO. The 997 does ride very harsh. And that comes from a guy that once owned Jeeps with leaf spring suspensions. My current new Jeep Wrangler JLU, rides much much smoother than my 997.

So it is nice that you are trying to dial the ride to keep it, and by all means, if you do change something that actually does make a difference, please share, but I think that you'll just have to get use to it.
