Replacement calipers for 997.1 C2?
This question is for a 2005 base Carrera. The car sees more track time every year, 9 events so far for 2011. Now is the time for new rotors pads etc all around.
Performance of stock brakes with track pads are still ok vs driver capability etc, but switching pads for track events without having to remove the calipers twice/event would be a nice improvement. So the question is if there are any aftermarket calipers avaliable for a stock, base Carrera brake setup?

i responded to you on toher forum but you are mistaken - you do not have to take calipers on 2005 base car to swap pads. it is a 10min operation to swap pads on all 4 calipers if you made your sway bars stiff enough so you can lift both axles when you jack up car at rear jack spot.

Find an "S" calipers and you be good to go.
