Default ABS engaging too often and too easily?

My 2009 997.2 PDK has the ABS come on for relatively mild braking. The tires are PS2s with 9000 miles on them, the tread still looks to be in good shape. The ABS will activate often coming up to a stop sign at 30 mph at moderate speed and occasionally even slower. They will also chatter away with hard braking from 50+. I never had a car that would so easily activate the ABS. Is this most likely a tire issue or something in the braking system? Mentioned to dealer over the summer and was told everything was fine but this seems to have worsened. I bought the car 9 mos ago with 3000 miles on it and noticed it then but it has worsened (tire wear?). Doing first autocross with this car this weekend and if anybody has any feedback it would be appreciated.

If everything is stock, it is not normal. Have your dealer sort it out or take it to another dealer.
