I don't like the look of Clear Bra on my daily driver 997.
Love the look of my freshly polished and waxed paint.
I keep up on the touch ups, and when it is too far gone I will repaint it.
Resale value doesn't matter cause I'm not selling.

Have one on my 2008 C2S. Super happy. I didn't like the line across the hood look, so I covered the entire hood, grill, headlights, mirrors and am going back for trailing edges of the wheels. Consistently, 3M yellows. It's the adhesive they use. Same system Porsche used on the rock guards that look so crappy.
As long as you maintainitwith the right sealant you'll get several years clear, few more slightly off color, then remove. Way better than couple thousand dollar respray every few years...
For me, the full hood was key...

I have it on mine and it's my DD. I also had it on my on my 03 and the clear bra has held up very well on both cars. I did not have it on any other car I've owned and I should have. Will I do it again? Absolutely.

Have 3M on my 2008 and at least two chips ripped right through the clear bra and the paint so it is defintiely not fool proof. Was given a 5 year $1,000 repaint warranty so we will see soon if they actually honor it.

I have it on all of my cars. It's either winter or construction season here so it really saves the front end & lights. Even if you have to replace it after 4-5 years IF it starts looking bad, it is much cheaper than a respray.
