Hi, I must confess I rarely come onto this side of the forum as I normally lurk on the air cooled side of thing but really could do with a bit of advice.

I am making an exhaust which I want to be able to fit a variety of tips to so I have gathered a pair of Sebring quad tips and a pair of Turbo tips.

I went for the 997 tips due to the ease of fitment but really need to see a close up photo of the pipe from the silencer/muffler box that the tips fit onto and also need to know what diameter it is - The tips seem to have an inside diameter of around 58mm but come with a couple of collars???

Please could some kind soul help me out with a photo and a pipe diameter?

dont know exactly but its about 2 1/4"

Hey ok - That would make perfect sense, 2 1/4" = 57.15mm, when I measures the bore it was around 58mm dia.

Do you know if the whole pipe is 2 1/4" dia or is the pipework larger, say 2.5" dia and the end reduced to 2 1/4" dia?

all the exhaust pipe is comparable to american size 2 1/4 but not exact same. The origional is metric.
