I've not heard of clear side markers made by aftermarket vendors. Anyway, get the genuine Porsche ones; Suncoast is a great source although your dealer may be willing to match their price (mine was).

I got mine from Eric at BumperPlugs. I also ordered a "door plug" at the same time. The clear side markers from Eric are Porsche OEM, and were $6.00 more than Suncoast. Eric is a RL Sponsor and a great guy to know and deal with. I would rather support the "smaller guys" who support us.
Is anyone using newer high tech bulbs in the clear markers?
I am using silver bulbs in mine that glow orange when lit, but make the clear markers appear fully clear without the egg yolk look when they are not lit. I don't think they would be considered high tech. I think they are simply orange bulbs with a silver coating on them. I can't remember exactly where I got them. I think they may have been called "silvervision". If I recall correctly...
My salesman was good enough to hand a set to me when my car arrived in the states. No charge.
Mine actually installed clears and gave me the ambers to do with as I pleased when I picked the car up (and offered to put the ambers back on if I desired). He actually won't deliver a car w/ amber markers.
