My New (to me) 997.1 Carmon Red C2S Cab
I'm finally back in a c2S after trading in my last coupe for my wife's car a couple of years ago...
This is my first convertible and so far it is great. I have been a carmon red fan since a friend of mine had a 993 turbo in the color.
I've been busy with it:
-full detail and DIY tint removal to pass inspection
-GT3RS wheel (ordered GT3 wheel without strip but I actually like the stripe)
-Dension ipod/bluetooth/aux
-V1 hardwire
-Tubi mufflers
-New interior bits that were aging
-Dectane tails on order
I hope it continues to feel this good on the road.
I have to admit that the Tubi is a bit quieter than I had hoped for, but that may change as I put more miles on the car. I am thinking about X51 headers to improve that.
Anyway, I don't usually do these "new car" posts, but I am really happy with it and I thought I would share. I would also welcome any advice on the headers.
PS -- wish I could remove the front plate but they are cracking down around here.

Gorgeous! Is it non-metallic? Reminds me of Rosso Mugello on a Ferrari.

It is a metallic color but it is only apparent in direct sunlight.
And yes, it is a grey top -- the color combo I was looking for.

I am not sure if X51 headers will change the exhaust note much. Fabspeed x sport cats?
