My mechanic told me today there is a knock on my condenser. He said it should be ok and not have to replace yet.

What do you guys think? Should i just change it now or wait till there is no more air-con before i change. Also, do i need 1 or 2 condensers? Which normally fails first, the condenser or the air-con compressor?

He said there was a dent on it at the corner. It might not be a major thing but it is something i should note and watch out.

i would not care. if there was a crack you would loose all freon and would need a new one. no need to worry imho.

I wouldn't be concerned unless you start loosing refrigerant.
