I have been going to vacation in Eureka Springs Arkansas my whole life. My family had a house there when I was growing up and we spent the summers there. I especially remember the crazy twisty, curvey roads. The steep and dangerous mountains.
So what better place to drive and get some thrills with a great sports car. Its so very remote in this area that time has nearly stood still. Most of the town was built in the late 1800s and early 1900s. And most of the buildings are still the way they were origionally. Not much gets removed from the area and things just stay the way they were.
Aside from later residents who came to find the natural country life in the 70s and have tried to make the town a tourist attraction.
But for me, Im there to see the natural beauty of the mountains, the springs and drive in some awsome terrain. I drive the tail of the dragon and the blue ridge parkway in NC. But my favorite road is the Pig Trail (hwy23) from Ozark to Brashears. 24 mi of really good road, in the woods and rock mountains. Best thing about this is, theres no people. Very little traffic, even on a weekend in the summer when you get the few cycle riders and few tourist. Ive never seen a cop on the road at all. You can go just as fast as you want.
Another great place is Hot Springs, with Scenic 7 going north for 60 miles. A very fast mountain road with more open views. Hot Springs is a great old historic town with 1920s bath houses in the natural 140 degree hot springs. Also 2 mountain drives going up to 2 peeks overlooking the city.
If you want to stretch your car out, and push it to the limit, if you can hold it on the road- this is the place to be. Just dont make a mistake, it will be your last.

When with the Warbonnet Region of the PCA we used to go out to Eureka Springs twice a year--Spring tours, and Fall foliage tours. Great drives. (I think we used to terrorize the locals). It's a beautiful area with nice Porsche roads!
