Weak horn

Finally used my horn for the first time after owning my 07 4s for a year. I noticed it has a weak or low output similar to a motorcycle. Is this normal or a known problem with 911s. I tried to search but only found the older gen models with similar problems.

I think this was/is a common fix on 997.1s. Happened on my '06.

The low horn on my '07 went out recently, luckily it was one of the last things to get fixed under warranty. The low tone horn is easier to replace than the high tone horn, which they have to take off the front bumper.

Porsche got a bad batch of horns. They probably were hoping that people wouldn't notice, because to replace them takes several hours of work, taking off the front bumper, etc.
