Default Post-start grinding noise from front end.. any ideas

I've been chasing this grinding noise on start for over a year or more. Every time I end up at the dealer, it doesn't reproduce, of course. Every time I start the car cold in the garage or a parking lot, its there.

So I'm trying to capture the sound audio to at least provide the service guys a clue on what to listen for.

First attempt, with the crappy cell phone audio recorder. Just after the engine fires, you hear this higher frequency grrrrt. That's the thing that's emanating from somewhere forward of the steering wheel.

(WAV file attached inside a ZIP since the website refuses to attache a WAV or MP3 directly)

Car is a 3.6 Targa 4 (so its awd)

Thoughts?
