I have the stainless steel ones. I had them covered with left over clear bra material. They look better with the material on than being naked....

The leather door sills look gorgeous and whenever I see them I want them. But I've resisted the temptation so far, because of the expense and likelyhood of getting them scuffed up.
Are they expensive? I'm pretty much the only passenger ever in my 911 and I know I wouldn't scuff them.

This having no friends thing works out great sometimes!

What about when you take the car through the car wash? Doesn't that get your leather sills wet?

I can't recall the exact price now, but the last time I checked they were over $1000 bucks for the pair.

The leather sills are the inside door sills, so they don't get wet. See below. (Not my car, but one of the pics that got me dreaming about the leather door sills.)

I've got the leather door sills and door handles both, plus other tidbits, leather sun visors, door triangles, dome light surround, console, shift boot....

All Exceptionally beautiful worth every crazy cent....distinguishes car gives it super premium hand crafted aura

Can you post some pictures of those "tid-bits" so I can drool and consider?

If you do go with the leather sills you will get scuff marks on them. They look great but I would pass. Get the leather center console instead. That will give the int. that super premium hand crafted aura.

Suncoast sells OEM porsche leather trim. I now have my Christmas wish list...lol

Absolutely agree!

So how have your door sills been holding up? I'd love to see some pics of your interior too.

I've done my complete rear center console, defroster vents and some other parts too. Here's my door handle spears and inner mirror triangles.

seems like those would be a candidate for some enterprising company (bumper plugs, maybe) to come up with a nice s/s replacement for the area, or might that be too much stainless in the door area if you already have the outers, but if not...initial tooling would be a bear but then, I could go for that...

I'll take some photos and post
My sills are perfect but then again I'm super vigilant about them, have no kids getting in and out
My goal was to replace the cheap plastic with stitched leather or carbon, all black, stealthy

I have the leather sills, I love them but they got pretty beat up by previous owner. Not terrible but enough to bother me. The worst part is the stitching in that one spot is getting fuzzy.
