Hi All --

Well, it’s time for me to sell my 2010 C2S.

My back isn’t getting any better, and I’m now officially in a love/hate relationship with my dream car. Maybe this is more like an amicable divorce than selling a car... It’s just not working out for me as a car I can drive in for extended periods, and it’s actually giving me grief after drives more than about 45 minutes.

Of course, it’s the best driving car I’ve ever driven. Spectacular.

I’d love to sell this car to someone who’ll love it as much as I have, when I love it .

I had a black multifunction steering wheel face and voice control added, by Porsche of Tysons Corner in Virginia.

Also bought winter wheels/tires (18” Carrera III wheels, and Pirelli Sottozero tires), and rubber floor mats. And of course, clear side marker lamps.

It has about 8600 miles on it, one autocross, no track time. Michelin Pilot Sports, N2 version. It burned a quart of oil, in about the 1st 3500 miles, then it stopped and hasn’t burned a drop since. I had the 1 year service done at about 5000 miles, also at Porsche of Tysons Corner.

I’m offering it at $80,500, with the possibility of a lease-takeover. PM for details.

Very pretty car! Sorry you have to let her go. Try adaptive sport seats if you get a chance.
Went to CA and back from MA very comfortable i also have a bad back that's why I sold my 92C2.

BTW -- In-service date was 10/23/2010, factory warranty through 10/23/2014.

I would agree, I am missing three discs in my lower spine that put the sciatic nerves always inflamed. I also have a disc missing ( all are degenerated from a very active life plus a birth issue) in the middle of my spine and I find the Adaptive sport seats to help A LOT. The sport buckets are good also. I also use heated seats even in the summer. I know air cond. and heated seats but it works. I don't think you will find any better seating than what Porsche uses. Keys for me are good lateral lower back support and equally good thigh support to take the strain off the lower back. Besides when I'm in the Porsche my smile drains out the lower back pain... life is short enjoy Now getting out is sometimes slower than others.

I'm fused from T10 through L3 and went with Adaptive Sport Seats. They work extremely well for me.

Dan, I'll see your 2 and raise you 1 (L4-5-S1). I have an additional 3 in the cervical area.

Porsche seats have not been an issue for me. Recently did a round trip to the Glen for a 3 day DE from Cincy.

I could have had a new GT3 for this rebuild.

Dan: T12 and L2 burst fractures fixed from a left sided thoracotomy synthes synex cage and isola screws and rods, probably done in the late 90s (common cause for fractures at those levels: seatbelt injury, snowboarding, hanging up Christmas lights)

Alan: degenerative lumbar spine, fused L3 to S1 with static titanium interbody cages and medtronic legacy screws rods and crosslink, probably done within the last 8 years

with proper care and service, these spinal enhancements should not interfere with your ability to drive and enjoy your Porsche.

Marc, do not sell your car, get your back fixed, and get out there and drive.
