Default mObridge mic install - where?

For people who have installed mObridge Bluetooth/iPod module, WHERE is the best location of mic for a Coupe?

Options are:

- Left Pillar
- Steering wheel column
- Next to rear view mirror

I think the best location is next to the mirror from what I've seen, but not sure. Love to know details from ppl who have it installed.

PS. how much you paid for install?

For my system (Tooki) I went with the A pillar.

I did my installation myself. These things are not that difficult.

Thanks Dan. I know, saw your full guide... if I had some extra time, I'd done it... but I rather have someone do it and provide after-sale support.

To be frank, I haven't had any issues with my Tooki--assume the mOBridge to be of similar reliability. Once in, little is going on--provided the software was mature to begin with! (As with everything, 'software can eat your lunch!')

mine sits in almost same spot in the left upper glass corner. it is a dual mic, sometimes when I speak I have to lean forward to be closer to the mic so my wife would hear me better. not sure if it is an ideal spot but it is the simplest one to route wires to.

regards, Paul.

Top of the steering column. Picks up the sound of your voice very well. Installation was about 6 hours of labour.
