Looks like I'm going to be ordering a GTS Cab, and I'm getting more and more confused as it becomes more likely:
1. PTS Pastel Yellow w black leather/top vs
2. Carrera White w exclusive options to create 2-tone red and black interior/black top (a la pre-owned black turbo coupe that's for sale right now at RPM) vs
3. Dark Blue metallic w black leather/top (a la promotional mouse pad that Porsche NA circulated) vs
4. PTS Riviera Blue with black leather/top
Has anyone seen Pastel Yellow on a 997?

I would go for the white. The black red interior sounds great, too. I would get the coupe personally, but otherwise, I am in total agreement.

Hahaha. I guess you either love it or hate it. I love it on 993s and old muscle cars, but have yet to see it on a 997. Hate to make a very expensive mistake.

Pastel Yellow is simply too yellow, IMO.

They have a nice yellow in Signal Yellow.

Man that's a tough one! I like every color you mention. I guess my least favorite is the dark Blue.......I love dark Blue and had a Midnight Blue 996 over Natural Brown and that was cool but I think now it's just too conservative for me!

The Yellow is cool but maybe my second least favorite here....it's light but something about it doesn't quite do it for me and I like light yellow......maybe it's not brown enough? I was going to do a Champagne Yellow PTS from the 60s and I loved that color on old porsches and Jags but the Porsche PTS told me after 3 months that they couldn't do that color for me because of the light metallic Paint wouldn't cover consistently enough so they made me go to another color (I chose Turquiose Blue and now like it the best so thank God they couldn't do what I originally wanted which I still consider an awesome color. Here are a few pics of that color on a 997:









The White with the red and black appeals to me too but white would never be my first choice although I do like it with the red!

My real favorite here would be the last one you mentioned and definitely on a cab! I love the bright colors especially the Blues and Riviera is one of my all time Porsche favorites behind my true favorite:





Plus there's nothing like PTS!

However, the signal yellow is incredible.

I think my first choices for PTS would be Riveria or Mexico Blue.
