z1 star specs in rain
Just did an event at Lime Rock in a pouring rain. standing water, no visibility, whole 9 yrds.
Z1 tires are AWESOME!!!! It is a best rain tire i have ever had. no hydroplaning, excellent wet grip. same tires were on spec bmw car an instructor from our NER region drove and his comments were exactly same - despite any marketing BS there are no comparable track tires to Z1 star specs in wet/water so far, short of rain hoosiers. just looked at smartycam video data - 0.9 to 1.1 G in flat turns in wet with some puddles. not too bad imho.
