Default GT# brake ducts on GTS

Pulled my new GTS up on ramps tonight to see if it had GT3 brake ducts. It does not. I have a pair of GT3 ducts that I purchased for a Cayman R that I ended up swapping for the GTS.

Will I gain anything from changing to GT3 ducts. I noticed that the stock ducts have a broader surface area while the GT3 ducts have less surface area.

It's not a big deal to change but i don't know if i will gain any advantage. Will I?

Nope the newer 997.2 ducts seems to capture more air. If you track a lot then get the rather expensive GT2 ducts, they actually work.

Thanks, that's what I thought. I changed to GT3 ducts on my 08 Carrera S and didn't remember the 08 duct as having as much surface area. I was surprised when I looked at the GTS and held the GT3 ducts up against them for comparison.
