Default Another FNG

Hello everyone. I have been an owner of a 1986 911 Targa for 6 plus years, but have lusted after a 997 since they arrived. Well, the dream is now a reality... I pulled the trigger on a 2007 C4S with only 11K on the clock. There are too many options to list (I'm still trying to sort them all out), but there is more leather in this car than in a NYC S&M club. Its on the pillars, the headliner, the visors, the seatbacks, etc. I almost feel guilty for the herd of cows that gave their lives so I can enjoy this wonderful hide. Almost!

I know you guys love photos, so here it goes. I apologize in advance if they are large files. I'm an anolog guy in a digital world.

The car is Lapis Blue with Sand Biege interior. I couldn't have asked for a better combo.

Thanks for letting me lurk in your forum for so long. I've learned a ton.

Sincerely,
Joe

Thanks everyone. The trigger is mounted between and slightly in front of the front seats. :-)

And, you are right about the PSE. Completely addictive! Is there a support group for this?

Beautiful car. Congrats! Did you keep the Targa? You average 1 post every two years. You should come around more often. Good peeps here.

Very very nice! You can plug in the VIN at the dealer and get the list of your options.

Thanks Mark. I intend to be more noticeable around here now. Like I said, I've been lurking in the shadows for years, but didn't think I should post without firsthand info. Everyone seems great and respectful. I promise not to start any PDK vs MT threads! :-)

The Targa now has a new owner. He was very excited to get her, and I think he'll take great care of her.

Thanks Zeus993. I actually have the original sticker. There were over $32K of options added! They threw the kitchen sink at it. I think it got everything but the parking sensors...

Thanks for the welcome!

Joe,

Very nice looking car! I had a Lapis 2004 996 and I really like the color.
