Yeah I know--I've been meaning to dedicate an hour to getting some better shots, but wanted to get a post in and that's all I had. Hopefully I can capture the true color (Dark Olive Metallic) with the sun hitting it. I had been looking for the better part of eight months and was set on a 996 based on what I could afford but I took what many of you had said about waiting it out to heart, and, well the rest is history. I've got a good story about what happened with the car that first weekend, but I think I'll save that for later--don't want to ruin my rep so early in the game!

That dark olive metallic is a very rare color. It changes much depending upon the lighting. A nice choice. My guess is sand beige inside?

Edgy you're good--sand beige it is. They're the adjustable sports seats as well and I haven't adjusted them from the previous owners settings--I'm sure I am missing out on something there... I need to get the windows tinted if anyone has suggestions on levels--has anyone done the UV coating for the windshield?

 

Yes, more pictures of the dark olive metallic. I have a soft spot for dark greens.

And suggest you go to bumperplugs.com and get some clear sidemarkers. Huge improvement for little outlay.

Good looking car! As far as window tint, I had 35% T done on the sides and back and the UV tint (85% T) on the front 2 years ago. Llumar tints. I've been happy with the results.
