I just took my 2011 C4S in for its 1st annual service at my local dealership. Service advisor asked if there were any issues with the car. I informed him that overall everything was solid except that i felt that the gear changes (especially between 1st and 2nd) were a little janky (yes that is a technical term).
Anyhow, a few hours later the service tech called and informed that there was a PDK software update which had been rolled out and was now applied to my vehicle and that everything should be sorted.
Needless to say, I feel like I am driving a different vehicle. The gear changes in auto mode are seamless and virtually imperceptible. It's amazing what software patch can do these days.
