Those were issues with Rotec, not dectane. There are no issues with mine. I like everything except, on the right side, mine doesn't fit perfect. I'm not sure if I installed it incorrectly or just made this way, but it moves a little bit. I need to talk to Frank to see if it's a common issue. Otherwise it's great, looks hundred times better than the 997.1 tails.

Ynot,

Did you make sure all the wirings are pushed out of the way to allow the light to seat properly? Did you set the corner of the light as deeply as you can into the slot? Did you remove the bracket, then reinstall it, or did you do the 1 screw technique?

I thought I did, maybe I wasn't as thorough as I thought. I have not heard of any fitment issues except mine, almost embarrassed to post it. I'll check after work today.

*edit* work from home today, took my 15 minute break and fixed it, there's a u shaped clip that was not in properly. I knew it was something little and since nobody mentioned it I knew it was only my problem.

I have the rear Rotec and they have sorted themselves out well...no fogging, and a proper functioning rear fog light.

That's the clip I was referring to when I asked if you seat the corner properly. I should have just said the "U-shaped" clip from the start ...hehehe. Glad it's all fixed. The lights are awesome.

Ynot, i ordered the Dectane from Frank as well, could you tell me if they arrive via USPS or DHL? Frank provided me with a DHL number but i know DHL is no longer doing business in the US. I did have a note from USPS today and i was trying to figure out if those are my tail lights, any idea?

Those are most likely your lights. I ordered mine from Frank exactly one week ago and they arrived today by USPS - signature was required. Didn't have time to install them yet but they look great.

Yes i got them today as well and they look great. I tried installing them but i ran into this situation. See photos. Did anyone else run into anything like this? It looks like it's missing the screw where the bracket is supposed to go into.

Yes, you are missing a screw in the middle that holds the bracket in. The screw is nothing special, just pick one up at home depot or lowes.

Subscribed. Like others, that's a lot of money for LEDs. I used to think the LED predators were a lot for my M3, but this gives new mean to PRICE GOUGING!

They look nice - however, for those who have laser shifters, it is the ideal locale for shifters- this is where I have mine as part of the 9500ci. also, starting to look cluttered up front maybe too much of a cool thing - the one piece replacement is the way to go.

The rear Dectanes are nice. These front LEDs, by comparison, look contrived (and too expensive).

Something fully integrated into the existing 997.1 turn signals would be my preference.

Ouch my eyes, anyone seen those older audis with the aftermarket LED strips? Reminds me of those.
