The interior piece under the sunroof slaps the other interior parts when hitting bumps drives me nutz. Its the rear part of the sunroof. Any body else?

My '92 rattles less than my '05.

I had a rattle in the rear of the sunroof. Only when it was closed - when open there was no rattle. One piece of felt tape and the rattle is gone. Felt tape is a great friend to the neurotic Porsche owner

My '99 996 used to rattle like that. My '09 997.2 doesn't rattle at all.

Mine too...what should we do about it? I took it to the dealer a few years ago for this and they scratched a seat while working on it...

Why do we have to have sunroofs? I have always hated them, even though all of my cars have had one:-(

My 2007 base is sunroof quiet. Occasionally, I get some rattling from the passenger side mirror. My SA told me this is normal due to "aerodynamics".

I had a new rattle after they replaced the pass side door skin. Really ticked me off. Thought I was going to have to take it back to the body shop / dealership.

Turned out it was the seat belt clip hitting the side of the sport seat.

Nothing yet on my '11 997.2. Had rattle in the rear which turned out to be the seat belt.

No rattles at all on my 997.1 C2S (knock on wood),rarely use the sunroof though...

My 2005 is long gone, but it had incessant sunroof rattles, even after replacement of some parts (and a scratched center console).
