My New 2011 911 With PDK Sport Plus (Pics)
Hi Everyone, just traded in my 2009 Cayman for a 2011 911 with PDK and Sport Chrono. Will miss Cayman for sure. Had a chance to race the Cayman R and a variety of 911s at the Porsche World Tour in NY and was completely floored by the 911. I was sold instantly! Here is the option list and pics:
Exterior: Arctic Silver Metallic
Interior: Black Standard Leather
Transmission: 7-speed PDK
Heated Seats
Seat Ventilation
Power Comfort Seats with Driver Memory
Sport Chrono Package Plus
Navigation Module for PCM
BOSE High End Sound Package
XM Radio
7-speed PDK
Self Dimming Mirrors
19" Sport Design Wheel
Wheel Caps with Colored Crest
Heated Steering Wheel

Oh my! What will the ladies at Planet Porsche say about you trading your divinely perfect Cayman, for a dated, over-priced, and generally inferior to the Almighty Cayman, 911?
Just wait, you are just beginning to know your new car. Happy Trails.
Ask yourself in 3 months if you made the correct decision.

Hi. I did get some price discount but not as much as you would think. You wont see, in my view, the 991 until mid next year so for now prices are strong. The sticker was $96,000 and got it for $90,000. Even with the new model coming out, I think the prices should remain relatively sticky. I was staring at '07 911's with low mileage still going for $70,000 (CPO) on the lot. I guess I am not in the camp that feels that these cars (997.1 or .2) are going to massively depreciate with the launch of the 991. It wasnt even a thought in my mind to wait and I could have.
