New 2012 GTS
I had been considering trading my 2008 997S on a GTS, but thought I would wait until the 991 came out and get one of those. After reading some of the recent articles on the 991, I am not sure that will be what I am looking for. I know the GTS is a great car, but don't know what to expect from the 991.
My local dealer just received a white with black leather, 6 speed, and other good stuff on Wednesday. I went to look at it and bought it yesterday. I absolutely love the car.

Congrats.
The GTS is a great Porsche. The best Carrera ever. Think I'd buy one over waiting for the 991. The 997 is already on the large side. The 991 sounds like it'll be a behemoth

You know what I really really like about your GTS?.....You got the black plastic lower parts painted to match. To me this makes the car look sleeker and lower and I love how these parts wrap around the front of the rear wheel. To be honest this is a big part of why I considered a black GTS because I did not want to pay to have those black parts painted as they will blend in nicely on the black GTS...LOL As soon as I mentioned black my wifes eyes lite right up and she then demanded a all black GTS...LOL

Congrats! I also got a white GTS six speed recently (in May) and absolutely love it. Mine is full leather, with carbon fiber interior/shifter/door sills/e brake.
Post some pics of your interior. Enjoy...it is my favorite 911 on the market, as well, for daily driving.

It is a good thing that you don't have that Alcantara crap strewn all over the interior. Alcantara on the roof liner is quite enough.
