I wonder if the recall extends to GTS central locking wheels? If I had one, I'd demand a replacement.

According to the actual recall notice, only cars manufactured before 09/17/10 are affected.
My GTS was one of the early ones, and it was built in November 2010.
I'd guess that any GTS's that came off the line prior to September 17th would be recalled, too.
I just don't think any were built that early.

Here is what I found out....
I called my service guy yesterday and he said the GTS did not have the recall.
BUT...
(more info from Porsche)
AB01 NHTSA recall: Does not apply to my GTS (and I expect/guess it does not apply to any GTS, but please call Porsche to verify with your VIN)
WB10 (as in Wheel Bolt) Service Campaign: Does apply to my GTS (and again expect/guess it will apply to other GTS vehicles. You can call Porsche at the number listed in the recall to find out or call your servicing dealer). Service Campaigns are not federally mandated and are a Porsche initiated program.
Have not heard back from the dealer with my most recent call today.

I guess we'll find out shortly. I sure hope nobody's wheels (mine especially!) fall off in the meantime! I've done 6 days of DE and 2 days of AX on mine so far, and they're still attached. So far, so good.
