Default Painted Center Console Finally here!

After months of waiting, my Porsche Racing Green painted center console from Bumperplugs finally arrived! Great contrasting color against the sand beige upholstery and red seatbelts.

Looks great--a nice contrast to all that light leather. Good choice.

I like it a lot. The contrast is very classy.

Love it. I have the same in silver and it puts a very aesthetic contrast to the interior. What was it like installing?

Installing was a breeze, since it was my 2nd time taking the console off. I first installed my aluminum ebrake and PDK shifter over a year ago, and I needed to learn how to remove the console for that. You do need a lot of patience and not rush into removing things to prevent unnecessary damage, especially with installing the newly painted console.

Looks great - I think painted center console rocks with most interior/exteriors combinations. Sand and BRG, err Porsche racing green are great together.

Very sharp and a nice accent.

Which arm rest with the logo is that? Sun Coast by chance?

Did you remember to put down some clear tape on either side of the console to protect the paint from the seatbelt latch? I noticed that on mine that is covered with leather. (See? Just aft of the seat belt receptacle)

I have not applied tape on my painted console (cobalt blue) and it shows absolutely no signs of wear on either side due to proximity of the seatbelt latch.

Actually, I'm very impressed with the painted console over-all - it seems very durable and is free of marks or scratches after 30+K.

Mine is from the factory, not sure if it makes any difference if painted after-market.

Looks great against the beige, just enough contrast to make your interior really pop out.

Well done!
