Default Unusual items hauled in your 997?

Porsche is certainly pushing the practical aspects of the 911 these days and so I thought I'd post a pic of an item recently hauled back from Home Depot... (Trees? Now you are wishing you had that oh-so controversial sunroof!)

Anyone else have some unusual pics?

Although i dont have a pic of it, i hauled a 5ft by 2 ft glass pane. Folded the rear sets down, set the passenger seat as back as it would go and slid it in through the passenger door with window down. Was in a bind and not the wisest thing to do but managed.

I had a 4' stepladder in mine the other day. Didn't think to take a pic though, its just one of the many things my car hauls around without a second thought.

I'm planning to buy a guitar soon, and stuffing the case it'll come with may be pic-worthy...

How about a transmission?

While biking in the Santa Ynez Valley, I was without a camera when a Targa drove by with an 8 foot TREE in the cabin!

On it not in it.....but same idea. I'm not in the garage queen camp considering my Carrera will depreciate along the same curve as a Camary. 10K miles in 8 months.

How about a bumper, inside the car.

I take my son's foldable soccer goals in the car all the time. I'll have to take a picture. I've also transported a digital piano that didn't fit in the box andhad to be taken out. It made it in with the seat down and the box collapsed.

But perhaps the funniest is going to the local rock quarry and buying several 40-pound bags of Mexican pubble for my yard, pulling up right along all the Ford 4x4s, and having the fork-lift bring the bags to be put in my 911...

Weight DOES impact performance!

No pics, but I've hauled:

Wall mount for flat panel TV - from store to house, in box. Had to move passengers seat forward fully, and slide it in via the Targa back hatch but it fit.

15" x 20" section of tree trunk - my wood chopping base - from the greenbelt where the tree was cut up to the house. Fit nicely in the frunk.

That reminds me, I need to vacuum up all of the mulch and bark that is on the back seats from my garden center haul from last autumn.

My car is a utility vehicle with some go and a great suspension and not a polished garage queen.

That takes the prize for maximum utility and form follows function - a Porsche hauls a Porsche transmission.

Hauled some scrap steel (old brake rotors and some other misc stuff) to the scrap yard in my 986S a few weeks ago, only to be foiled by large speed bumps, and their unwillingness to let me walk onto the scales.

Was mostly an excuse to burn off a couple excess gallons of gas before a race, but thought I'd at least break even on gas money. Oh well.
