Default Lifting a Porsche 997/996.....

A question for the serious amateurs of professionals:

What model and brand of lift, is being used to raise a 911 Porsche car (996 or 997)?

Last weekend, we tried to lift my 997 at my friend BMW shop, but we could not do it because of the shot wheelbase and the requirements to have low profile arms.

Thanks
Yves

did you try to put arms at stock lift plates or at bases of LCAs?

I use a Bendpak Mid-rise lift and it fits Porsche perfectly.
