It was a valid question, since the 05 C4S as well as the TT were 996 models. So it would be easy to assume they were delayed with the introduction of the 997.2 in 09.

2009 TT is a 997.1, correct? DFI and PDK didn't show up until 2010 TT model. Don't know about the 997.1 C4S.

The 2009 Turbo is a 997.1 car. The 997.2 C4S cars are MY09. The important issue here is that the AWD 997 cars (Carrera 4 and 4S) radically changed in MY09. Prior to that the AWD ones had the viscous clutch arrangement. The 997.2 cars have electronically controlled AWD systems.
