These look cool, but I'm confused by the locking thing. How do they lock and does one lock and unlock them?

Are they OEM Porsche or after market?

the crests are porsche and caps are made to hold the real porsche metal crests (all cars now have the plastic crests on the car even) onto the wheels.

in them are 3 bolts per cap, when you remove the wheel you place the cap in and tighten the bolts... they sit behind a little lip inside the hub (where the plastic caps snap to) you tighten them and put wheels on vehicle... once they are on, they can never come off unless wheels are removed from vehicle.. to prevent theft/so forth.

the crest (as it would be on the hood of like 993 that had metal crest) is bolted on as well.. u can unbolt and paint the caps with ease... again, once wheel off car and cap off wheel...

I have these and they are the real deal! Very nice indeed. Just make sure they will fit because they are a little bit bigger than the plastic caps. I used them anyway on my lobster forks and they look great. They just sit on top of the opening and still tighten down as noted above.
