As attractive as Alain Ruf's cars appear, I'm more than happy with what the factory produces--good enough for 183 mph for my model (and I have been close to the top on the autobahns).

Reliability issues have to be considered. A friend of mine with a Ruf modified (extensively) Cayman S has had nothing but issues with his 400PS supercharged engine. He's even had body issues with the parts the Ruf put on his car.
