Death of the Toggles?

Death of the Toggles?
Of course my title is a bit missleading but recently I went to the Porsche World Roadshow event and every car had PDK w/ PADDLES . P had pretty much every model expect the GT cars. Are the toggles slowly being phased out?
BTW, these cars were practically new, w/ just a few hundred miles on them. When I asked an instructor about engine break in procedure he just commented: "No problems."

I think Porsche knows it's fighting a losing battle with the PDK steering wheel buttons (or toggles).
When virtually every other car manufacturer is using paddles (hell, even MINI has 'em), I'd bet Porsche will start putting paddles on its PDK cars as standard equipment soon.
At least, they should.
(By the way, who is Miss Leading?)

Death of the toggles? I'm more concerned about the death of the manual. Why didn't any cars at the auto show have a 6MT? As one of the only true sports cars still being built, they should at least let us know that they are still committed to building MT's for those who desire. To go 100% PDK is to go GT.
