I think this is a little extreme. While the axiom may hold true for racing it should not hold true for DE. I sadly can't say that accidents don't happen, but there was a time I recall that when they did, it was very rare. Sadly, it seems having 1 an event has become both "acceptable" and the norm. I've had the joy of running DE events since 1990 and have not had an impact event. Some spins.. silly slides, but no impact. 20+ years now.
