Anyone notice how they are just sitting on the lots? All the dealers seems to have at lease three on them. Interesting that I see more Cabs with LSD than the coupes. Hope they don't move so that I can get a good deal on one at the end of the year.

I imagine there are a few obvious issues that are driving this slump. The crappy economy, and the fact that the 991 Carrera will be coming out next year.

I wonder if this is regional thing. Looking at the 4 dealerships here in Colorado, there are only 2 GTS' listed in inventory. A coupe in Denver and a cab in Colorado Springs, both are Meteor Gray.

Our local dealer had a couple. One sold fast. I think the other is still there. Nice car, but he wouldn't budge from MSRP! I was forced to buy a better-equipped C2S that was a couple years old and about $45k less.

The Auto Gallery has about seven of them...SoCal must have gotten most of the cars. Bodes well for a good discount later in the year. Problem is that they specced most of them with no LSD and electric seats. I would want the lowered suspension, LSD and the adaptive sports seats which is very hard to find. Usually just two out of those three...maybe I should just get a GT3 again instead.

There's gray one at Stevinson for $115K when I took my 997 for an oil change last month. $100K is a lot to spend on any car, given the economy.

I've been to both San Diego dealers in the last 3 weeks and there were multiple of them at each lot.

I would not be surprised to see oversupply for the first half of the year so that dealers have inventory during the transition to the 991.
