Buying a 997 S, advice needed
I've been looking at and test driving a couple of 997 S but need your advice.
As an example, why should I not buy this one?

It looks lowered.
I would get a PPI done just in case.
Double check they are actually a certified Porsche dealer as a non-certified dealer cannot initiate or transfer a CPO warranty.

Also it has that body kit added "Dynamic body Kit Carbon Fibor ", so to me it is a modded car and should be valued as such on the used market. I want a new car or an unmolested pre-owned example. You don't know what else has been done to the car and then "put back to stock" for resale, especially if it is performance. Also maybe I'm a prejudiced a-hole but people who lower their cars like that with bodykits and such usually don't know how to drive, so I'd worry the car had been abused. Again, as said above, get a PPI.

Didn't see that :-)
I think it's a mistake with the line breaks and should read like below.
The car has the factory GT3 aero kit.
Additional Features
Sport Chrono Package
GT3 Aero Dynamic body Kit
Carbon Fibor Package
Bose Surrond System
Also looking at this one, 2007, lower mileage, more options:

The 2nd car looks better, but still not the classic shape.
Are you specifically looking for the aero kit?
Again, verify that the dealer is able to source the CPO if that is important to you. It isn't obvious that this one is a certified Porsche dealer.

it looks fine ,considering you can tolerate the aero kit. personally, I don't like them either, but the original owner decided to spend his own $7K on it, and then not really drive the car much. if I could get a rebate for it I would, but I won't put more inot it taking it back to the original shape....
get the PPI, and DME readout - that should tell you enough
by the way, it doesn't look lowered to me at all....it's an S. those are 19"s and there's still room in the wheel well
i guess I'll pretent to know how to drive it and be a poseur GT3 wannabe...
