In late October 2010 I bought my base 08 C2 Coupe with around 6k miles, Xenon's, power seats, heated seats, Bose and some other options for $58.7 plus tax ... it had 2 yrs left on the factory warranty. The condition was incredible, it even smelled new.
Noob here as well. Found an '06 C2 with 19",Bose,heated seats, xenon, self dimming mirrors with 35K miles. Dealer (non-Porsche) wants $44k..no OEM warranty left, but has service records, no accidents. What's a fair price? I was going to give him $40-41K, before adding tax (6%) + title/license fees.
I am looking at a few 997's for purchase in the near future. What do you think about these?
05 C2S 25k miles, base package $44.5k
07 C2 18k miles, PASM, sport chrono 19" wheels $48.9k or $51k with CPO
06 C2S 31k miles, sport exhaust, short shift kit, carrera sport wheels, CPO to Aug 2012 $51.5k
I want to use this car as daily driver for about 16,000 m/yr. Occasional track days. Any thoughts? I don't really like all of the fluffy stuff. I have an iPhone which has nav on it anyways. Would be putting a kid seat in it.
Edgy's comment was more about the PSE (sport exhaust) than the model year.
Given that you're looking to DD this a lot of miles, don't worry too much about getting a low mileage one.
Mine's at 52k miles and still tight as a drum.
Stopped by Rusnack Porsche in TO/WV today on the way back from a motorcycle ride...stealer told me he had people lined up waiting for 09's to come in off leases...not sure if I believe him but their inventory of CPOs sure was low. He also said that the 991 wont be out until 2013.
