Default Still No Aftermarket Tips Available for 997.2 PSE???

I believe this is the case - no alternative available if you have 997.2 PSE - beyond the fugly hotdog-in-bun tips from the factory. Astounded that no aftermarket providers, not Fabspeed not anyone, has marketed tips that will fit 997.2 PSE. I hope I'm wrong and that aftermarket tips are indeed now available......

As an alternative, the tips on the new GTS are a similar style but instead of a matte silver "bun" over a black "hot dog" they are black bun over chrome dog. I'm sure neither style will be cheap, however. I had one of my tips replaced under warranty due to a manufacturing defect that was causing the black anodizing to chip off the edge of the tail pipe. The service advisor didn't tell me the exact price but even he remarked at the time that Porsche was extremely proud of them.

This is a good side by side comparison of the standard PSE tips you mentioned and the GTS PSE tips.

Other than the black/chrome vs. the silver/black they are identical.

I feel the look of the GTS tips on the car is a big improvement.

I love the "hot dog in bun"!

Those GTS tips sure look perty! I might get them for myself.
