Three Wheelin'
so all this porsche searching and what not. well check this out. after work today i came home, and decided to take out my 09 cbr1000 to go get some dinner its pretty nice today here in southern nc. so at the stop light guess what kind of car pulls up to me. it was a 997 turbo. i couldnt tell which year, but the dood kept looking at me and reving his engine. looked like he was in his mid 30's, car sounded nice. he had some kind of exhaust work done. i was pretty jelouse since i aint got one yet and im looking for one. buuuut anyways looked like he wnated to race. and i was right as soon as it was green he stepped on the gas. now mind yall this is a long road with barely any stop lights, and all hte cars were behind us, nothing infront for at least a mile. so hit it on my bike, and smoked his ***. i got it to about 130 in 15 seconds or about that, now we were about the same speed, the porshce has some good pull, but it aint powerful enough mid way to beat a cbr. ill give it to him though he tried to keep up even with his turbo. anybody else own a 08-09 cbr1000? anybody race any bikes in their cars vice versa?
The great thing about this story, for you, is that now you don't need a Porsche - you have that bike and your Z (your Z can smoke your bike, right?) - so there you go. Now you can save your $$$, enroll in school, learn how to write, and when you grow up you'll be all set - don't you love it when life works out?

Why is this event a coincidence?

Everyone realizes, of course, that edimean22 is really a troll from the 993 boards. He can't drive his 993 because his SAI ports are clogged and his CEL is on. He needs to do something to fill his long, lonely nights!

Mr. Edimean, is not for anything else, a membership to Rennlist is now due for all the great advice you have recieved on this thread. Please display your racing prowess on the track. This is why it is so scary to share the road with some of the fellow users.

This story would be much
believable if the roles were reversed. I get bikes reving at me all the time, like its some big secrete that your 160 HP\420 LB bike is going to crush my 385 HP\ 3300 LB car. But here is a news flash, most of us also have bikes and for what ever reason that day we chose to drive our car.
Second it is just pure stupidity to race on the street. I can't cast stones because I am guilty of doing it, but as I get older (31 so not much older than you) I realize just how stupid it is. Its one think if you wreck and you kill yourself, but could you live with wrecking and killing someones child, or someones mother?
I've never read any of your other threads and have no ideal what your motive is, but you are most likely on the wrong website, and actually on the wrong forum as there is a dedicated 997 turbo forum. Good luck to you in life. We were all young once and made mistakes, hopefully you learn from yours before you or someone else gets hurt

OK, this is easy, let me do the math. 1 idiot on a bike plus 1 idiot in a Turbo = 2 idiots. Problem solved.
