Talking Tubi OR not Tubi...

After reading the numerous reviews that many of the members on this site posted about the Tubi exhaust and the PSE, I am happy to say that I've made my decision and purchased a Tubi exhaust from Sharkwerks. I'd like to thank everyone for their honest reviews on these two very good exhaust systems for the 997.

This board and others like it, are invaluable in helping 911 lovers like myself in finally deciding on which exhaust system is best for my C2S.

Thanks guys! I'll post pics of the install later.

Vinny

Did you also buy the Tubi exhaust tips or the Tubi headers?

Just the muffler system. I like my OEM tips. Perhaps later...I'll buy the tips. I passed on the headers....for now.

pics? how about some audio?

after talking with the guys at Sharkwerks, I'm considering the Tubi headers for my PSE set up. curious why you went exhaust vs headers (or exhaust vs exhaust and headers)?

I decided to do without the headers since I didn't want to add more sound once the mufflers are installed. The Tubi mufflers by themselves seem to add the aggressive sound that I have been looking for.

I'm about to get a set of sound clips for my Borla install as well.
It would be great if we could get similar clips.

I was thinking of:
Cold start from 10 feet
Warm start from 10 feet
Throttle blip (idle to 3000) from 10 feet
Throttle blip from inside, top up
Throttle blip from inside, top down
(both stock and after the muffler install)

I think drive-by clips have limited use for comparisons...

I'll be using a C01U studio mike to try and get as real a sound as I can.

Suggestions?

After much research I picked tubi as well. No regrets. Heres my tubi tips...80mm wide...like small megaphones.
