I just don't like those big honking center consoles.
If I wanted (what looks to me like) a three-foot wide center console, I'd get a Hummer H1.
I hope this is just a passing interior styling fad.

I don't know guys... That car to me looks like it is trying very hard to be different but going a bit too far -- even for a Lambo.
Sadly, I think Ferrari and many other designers are taking the same approach. Today I saw in person the Mercedes SLS AMG and had the same reaction.
We are going through an extremely intellectual approach to design. It's a time of extreme statements and for me what is missing is simplicity and beauty.

991 is gonna have almost the same centre console! AWESOME for a Sedan, totally overkill for a sports car!
