Thanks David. This is our 3rd 911 (had a 993 cab and a 996 cab) and cannot wait to get this thing registered and to have some fun with it.

BTW, LOVE the color of your's! Also very unique!

Very nice! Congrats and enjoy!

(But that rod antenna is weird.)

That's what I first thought about the antenna. Now I think it looks pretty good. Very integrated (well, as integrated as a fender mounted antenna can be...) and there is one very similar on the roof of GTS which I have always liked. In any case it is unique much like the car itself.

Congrats. Nordic looks awesome in bright sun. Please post some pics of the car once your mods are in place.

Just a beauty! We had a Volvo in that color and got nothing but compliments for 10 years; I would buy a Porsche to match in a heartbeat.

It is amazing, when you find the car you are dreaming about, how easy it is to pull the trigger.

Cool color. Really works for the Targa too. It's just the kind of thing I can imagine cruising the south of France in...which is nice to think about during a Canadian winter. Congrats!

It's looks outstanding. You are very fortunate to have found a" new" four year old car. That colour plus being a Targa make this car a fairly rare car that is sure to become a classic. This a real keeper. I wish I had seen it first. Best of luck.

totally retro/old school - not bad at all. I wonder what the rationale was. didn't know that was even an option

Thanks. I think its a Targa 4 though. Prolly have to have both anyway......

There is however a 2007 T4S in Nordic Gold on eBay right now for less than I paid for mine... 4 owners, more miles, black interior and fewer options though - nonetheless, it appears to be a nice example:

Great question especially, since this car was a customer ordered car. The PO was/is a high profile D.C. guy so maybe there is AM radio in D.C. he listened to? BTW, I have since learned (on another forum) it is specifically for AM reception! My first thought was WTH listens to AM radio any more? Sat Rad seems more current and the car doesn't have it.... (going to add it though)

I agree on the retro/old school thought.

The color combo reminds me of the old 928's that had the gold paint and the brown interiors. Surprised the PO didn't order wood bits for the interior.
Its a classy, luxury look for the 911 !

Love the color...saw one in my dealership back in 2008 in Arlington VA and drooled over it daily. It was a 4S I believe not a Targa but I think the color was just awesome and classic. Especially in black and gold. Enjoy!
