finally Rattle Free!!!
my car had rattles all over the place. i guess when you have a car this expensive you are critical with everything. but now its rattle free. major rattles were coming from the dashboard panel, instrument cluster, c pillar, rear deck and passenger side rear panel...All were cured with a generous helping of the miracle felt tape. my technician told me he traced the sound and put felt on all the clips in the area. there is a technical note on rattles that the dealer should know. only real problem is it is very tedious to search for the source of the rattles. once located the clips doing the noise could be insulated. Magic no more noice!!! hahaha. now i love my car MORE... all rattles in our p cars can be cured by a very good tech who cares a lot for you and your car. it takes a lot of time and patience. give a good tip!

Did he have to remove the dash or had he have access underneath to the rattling spots?

It can drive you mad trying to track them all down though. I gave up and just turn up the radio or hammer the throttle

slicky rick, thanks for posting. I posted earlier about rattles in my car. Did your dealer find the rattles or an independent? What year is your car? Hopefully my dealer is as skilled with the magic felt tape!

Yeah, the whole interior is held together by plastic clips. The advantage of that is it's very easy to pop apart, then you just put in some felt tape or padding and snap it back together and the rattle's gone.
