$28k 2005 997 - Atlanta
Maybe a scam, stumbled across it Googling for something else.
No affiliation, just FYI because the price is so low...
If someone in Atlanta is looking this car was posted here:

kbb.com has FAIR condition at $33k.
I emailed the owner for more pics.
From the ad's solo pic, looks like some front lip cosmetic damage and tires may need replacing ?
For me, I'd want the original wheels
Thanks,
Patrick

Not really. There is a more pronounced price bump between 2004 and 2005 because the 996 was in 2004 (other than the C4S and turbos). People still will pay a premium for a 997 body.

In my experience, prices that are too good to be true, usually are. I investigated a similar deal once and the pictures showed a red car but carfax said it was white. Then when I contacted the seller he wanted me to wire him $10k before he would show me the car! Of course I ran away as fast as I could.

I just got an email from the seller and attached were 20 pics and it looks fantastic !
The Atlanta (678) ph number however is dis-connected. The seats do not look like they have any miles on them.
Also, the email is from a doctor in Australia at a University. And no VIN #.

bottom line...
If a car is advertise for less than dealer trade-in value that is scam...why would anyone bother wasting their time selling direct.
Either the car is vaporware and you are dealing with nigeria
Or there is a car and it is ready to be taken over but it is in such bad shape dealer don't even want it as trade in.
